It is a project of 3 years duration, born of my inability to locate a useful tool when I studied for the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS) Exam.
It is a completed and revised project of Multiple Choice Questions in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (MCQ's in FPRS), which was devised as a learning tool for anyone wishing to prepare for the written portion of the ABFPRS Examination or for the “in-training” examinations given during Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Plastic Surgery residencies.
It is a practice tool of multiple-choice questions based mainly on the core book "Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery", (Papel I. D, editor), Thieme Medical Publishers, Inc., Fourth Edition, 2016, which covers virtually the entire spectrum of current information related to the field of facial plastic surgery.
It is also a very useful tool for any professional or student who has a need or desire to acquire theoretical Facial Plastic and Reconstructive knowledge.
Similar projects are available in the field of General Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. However, only a small section of questions is devoted to Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
The questions are extremely varied and cover all areas of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
You will find blocks of 10 questions each.
In each group of 10 questions there is a “drawing” based question. There are a total of 125 “drawing” based questions.
You will find the correct answers at the end of each block of 10 questions, as well as the exact references from which the questions were extracted.
Blocks of 100 questions each are also available for your convenience.
You can use the tool as a practice test. The test timing is approximately 1 minute per question.
The index is on the right of your screen. You may click over it selecting the questions you want to see.
I invite you also to visit the section containing Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Selected References for further details and study. These references will maximize the full potential of your learning experience.
